Just for the Ladies~ This time it was a small group but ladies came from as far away as Ashland & Wisconsin Rapids. A Wonderful time was had in the Sunshine!
We will meet at the UWBC Campus North Parking Lot at 2pm. Clinic will run for 2-3 hours
Scope: Dryland Strength, Agility & Balance Work, Hill Bounding Exercises & More
Followed by a Light Post Workout Meal

In the Long Race riding for Out There Nathan Lillie took 3rd on his single speed! In the Short Race we had Out There Folks in the top 5 with Greg Crites and Mark Bittner!
The Cable Area Off Road Classic (CAORC) is an epic and physically demanding course combining technical single track, rough double track, remote logging trails, and gravel roads. The course is 25 miles and contains rock gardens, lung searing climbs, screaming descents, fast winding single track, mud, sand, and everything in between. Be prepared to have plenty of nourishment and water and pace yourself for an enduring ride.

Our goal is to raise ALS awareness and funds to fuel research and Patient support to improve the lives of those with ALS being conducted by your local MDA ALS Minnesota Chapter (Augie’s Quest), and the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI) in Cambridge Mass. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a neurodegenerative disorder that paralyzes the body but leaves the mind intact. Patients on average live between two to five years and currently there is no cure.

Let’s Get Out There and get the Summer Nordic Walking Series going. This is the opening walk. We will start at “OO” Trailhead on the Birkie Trail and head North. Long Walk will be to High Point Food station and back. Others can take cut-offs at any point. We will plan to meet at the trail at 1pm. Long Walk normally goes about 3-3:30hrs For more details on the Nordic Walking Series:

5.3.13 Update location: We will meet at OO at 1pm. We will then head east approx 1.5 miles to the corner of OO and Telemark Rd. Park There and head North on Telemark Rd (Gravel) for the walk. If you want to ride up with us let us know by Saturday at 5pm via firstname.lastname@example.org

- Cost: $20 for the entire series ~ Funds go to Entires to be give away to participants
- Short Walks will be held during the week. 1-3 miles in Rice Lake
- Long Walks will be held on weekends. 6-12 miles on the Birkie Trail
**Also if you are participating in one of the other BTR&T Events you are welcome to join in and get your training at the same time!
