Today was a Fantastic Day in the North. Another Great Run Event by the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation & 900+ participants! A Fantastic Day from the Maraton, Relay, 1/2 Marathon, Trek & 5km Events. Hope to See you OUT THERE Next Year!

Had a great group tonight at Spooner Glide & Stride. Had 13 people turn out for the Nordic Walk on the Spooner lighted trails, and 20 + people for the SGSSC meeting. Great trail system. By the way, I used my sticks for walking and with doing all of the things you taught us…there was an hour gone like a flash.

Tonight we are going to have a “Just for Fun Nordic Walk” Down at the UWBC RLNA Trailhead. 6:00pm
Coming up on Oct. 23rd starting at 4:30 pm at the UWBC RLNA Trailhead there will be a Moonlight Nordic walk & Fundraiser for the RLNA. Soup, Cider & a fire for those who want to bring your own food to cook. Today we hosted an “Intro to Nordic Walking” along with the Lakeview Medical Center Wellness Center. This event was held at the Rice Lake Cedar mall as apart of the “Walktober” Month hosted by LMCWC.
