Supporting British Biathlon

We are excited to announce a partnership between Podiumwear & British Biathlon. As we at Out There are fortunate to have a couple of Team Out There athletes on the British Biathlon Team we worked along with them and Podiumwear for Tech clothing support going in to the next seasons. As part of this there is the opportunity to purchase Special British Biathlon cycling kits to support the Team! The storefront is open and will CLOSE on June 11th. Kits will then go into production and upon completion be mailed to you in the UK or anywhere else in the world!

The Out There Family Grows!

Growing-and-Managing-your-Small-Business

So 6 years ago now we began this adventure called “Out There”. It is really crazy to think how fast it has gone by. Just over 4 years ago we Started this little Athlete support project “Team Out There” working to support athletes from around the globe. Well from our first athlete folks seemed to feel it was a pretty great concept, and now it has taken flight. We just welcomed Team Out There’s 20th athlete and have been approached by another (US Athlete) whom we are working to see if She will be getting Out There as well. We find it AMAZING to receive letters & emails from athletes around the globe who are interested in being a part of what we are doing to Grow Nordic. The next most amazing thing is the emails & messages we receive form many of the athletes & their Families once they have joined the “Family” of Out There athletes and how things have changed in a hugely positive way for them. Keep an eye Out There to see the folks that join this Movement and set themselves a part by bringing

Lots of Irons in the Fire ~ Out There

Well as many of you know the Snow does not have time to melt under our feet… We try to stay Out There and much as possible and sometimes are accused of having a Few to many “Irons in the Fire” . Recently I received a message from someone asking about something they “Heard” we were doing from a Volunteering stand point. I let them know about a project we had in the works and they said ” You need to let folks know what’s all going on Out There” . Well here you go!  Here are a few of those “Irons” in the fire….

Team Member Robert Sircus debuts at BLINK

From Robert:

I had so much fun at BLINK 2014 despite how tough the competitions were. I opened a bit too hard in the brutal Lysebotn Opp and ended up suffering for my intensity. However, even for the Junior race in wet weather the crowd support was incr…edible and it really carried me on. I was still hurting the next day in my qualifier for the biathlon supersprint but I managed to qualify and I had a much improved day on the Saturday to finish in 9th place in the Juniors. It was amazing to be able to compete on the same course as some of the best biathletes and cross country skiers in the world and it fired me up to train hard and compete at the top level this winter.
