Deedra Irwin
Biathlon – USA

Deedra Joined Team Out There in 2015

Deedra started skiing when she was a sophomore in high school for Ashwaubenon Nordic Ski Team to help her stay in shape for her running seasons. After high school she attended Michigan Technological University to study Exercise Science. She ran Cross Country and Track along with competing in Nordic skiing. After college she moved to Ketchum, Idaho, to train with and compete for the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation’s XC Gold Team. She raced with them for two seasons before trying biathlon in Lake Placid, NY at the 2017 Talent ID Camp. She then switched to biathlon and has been training and competing full time with USBA since then. After last season she earned a spot on the USBA X-team, which is a development team based in Lake Placid, NY. For the 2019/20 Season Deedra has changed things up by joining the VT National Guard in order to serve our country and help in her Olympic Dreams in Biathlon. At the 2022 Beijing Olympic games Deedra had a 7th place finish in the Individual race, this is the ALL time BEST Performance at the Olympic Games by a US Biathlete.

Erin Bianco
Nordic – USA

Erin is from Ely Minnesota. After High School Erin raced for Colby College in Main. Erin began working with Out There for equipment during her time at Colby. During the 2022-23 Season raced for the USA at the World University Games in Lake Placid NY. After college Erin began her PRO career with Team Birkie in Minnesota. For the 23-24 Season Erin switched to BSF in Montana. Erin has qualified and raced for the USA at the period 3 & 4 FIS World Cup events.

Vincent Bonacci
Biathlon – USA

Vincent began x/c skiing with TUNA at 4 years old.  His first biathlon experience was the Novice Biathlon at the West Yellowstone Ski Festival in 2012. He is currently on the US Biathlon Team hand spends most of his training time at the USOPC Training site in Lake Placid NY.

Tara Geraghty-Moats joined Team Out There in 2015

She has been having a whirlwind of a Summer. Back in June she travelled to the Midwest to train with some of her Jr days coaches Vlad & Petra who run the Biathlon program in Coleraine MN. Then she came to join our Coach Kris for a Junior Camp here in Rice Lake. From there she was back home to VT for a few days and the App Gap Challenge prior to heading to Norway to train with the Women’s Nordic Combined National Team. From there she was off to the Summer Grand Prix where she crushed the first three events. Along with a BIG signing with Madshus things are really taking flight!

Sept. 5th also come along a really big announcement from the IOC- Tara has been named an Athlete Mentor for the Youth Winter Olympic Games in Lausanne 2020 (Article)

Beginning in the 2021 Season Tara has switched back to Biathlon & is competing for the US Biathlon Team

Logan Diekmann
Nordic – USA

Greetings, My name is Logan Diekmann. I am a Nordic Skier that grew up in Montana. In 2020 I completed skiing for the UTES as a D1 athlete and am now pursuing a professional ski career with the BSF PRO Team.

Logan has been racing in various periods of the FIS World Cup representing team USA since the 2022-23 Season.

Kat Paul
Australia – Nordic

Kat has been a member of the Team Out There family since 2013. At that time she was racing for the Australian National Team. Competing at multiple World University Games, FIS World Champs & FIS World Cups. The past few season Kat has moved to Team IBEX and racing for them in the Ski Classics Series in Europe.

Sarah Goble
Nordic – USA

Sarah previously skied for Michigan Technological University and graduated in 2021. Originally from Harbor Springs, Michigan. Competed for the USA at the 2020 U23 World Champs. When she moved to professional skiing she raced for a season with the SVSEF Gold Team and since the 2022 season Sarah has been racing with the BSF Pro Team.

Grete Gaim
Biathlon – Estonia

Grete has been compete in IBU event since 2010 when she made her debut at the World Junior Champs. In 2012 she was a Junior World Champion. Grete has competed for the Estonian National Team on both the IBU World Cup & IBU Cup teams. She has competed for Estonia also in the Biathlon World Champs & Olympic Games.
