Once again it is that time of year when we discuss the Birkie many, many times a day. For many folks the task of waxing their skis for the event is another thing to worry about. For the 5th year we are once again offering our Premium Birkie Waxing Service. This service is completed in shop and includes Full Base prep, Durability Layers, Performance Layers & Top Coats for those who so chose. Also for Classic skiers we will provide Kick Wax application. Each year we set a limit as to how many skis we will take in the shop. Each year we get a waiting list of those wanting to get in. For the 2015 Birkie we are at approx. 75% Full. Birkie Family 5/10Km & Nikkerbeiner Official Sponsor

Another GREAT Birkie Trail Run & Trek!
Another year has flown by and another Birkie Trail Run & Trek (BTRT) is in the books. This year we had over 75 people Out There representing the shop. 2- 6person Relays, 2 – 3person relays, 1 person in the marathon , over 20 in each of the 1/2 marathon, Trek & 6km. Loads of Fun by everyone. Also numerous podiums in age classes, top 10’s in Multiple events and the WINNER of the Trek~ Bill Miller. Thanks to everyone again who got Out There for the 2014 BTRT!

Train Like A Birkie Champ!
Help us help these two men travel, train, and race this season!! Both Matt and Tad work hard to raise support for their careers! Being a professional Nordic ski racer is not easy any where, but especially in the US. Support for their expenses and lives must be raised by them! Lots of individuals, clubs, and non profits help athletes like Matt and Tad and so can you. Attending this camp will accomplish two significant goals! You will learn something that you can take home to benefit the enjoyment of your individual sport and you will join the team and community that helps support Matt and Tad in their careers and goals. Well once again the Folks at the ABSF talked to the “Right” people and came out with a Great Day for the 2010 Birkie Run & Trek. Fitness, Food, Fine Music & Fun was had by all. Already looking forward to next years event!
