Well as many of you know the Snow does not have time to melt under our feet… We try to stay Out There and much as possible and sometimes are accused of having a Few to many “Irons in the Fire” . Recently I received a message from someone asking about something they “Heard” we were doing from a Volunteering stand point. The Chase will offer a challenging mix of gravel roads, ski trails and singletrack. Race, or Tour, its up to you.
LONG: 24 MILES
SHORT: 15 MILES
WHERE: Located in the Chippewa county forest, approximately 30 miles NE of Eau Claire.
PROCEEDS go to CORBA and FRIENDS OF HICKORY RIDGE for the GREAT trails.
VENUE: This is a remote cabin in the woods. No running water, no electricity. Porta-potties will be supplied.
LOCATION: Registration, start and finish area is located south of Hwy M, at the Dog Island Cabin, on Plummer Lake Rd, New Auburn, WI. This is a dead end road, proceed towards the end of the road. NOTE: it is a remote location, please plan accordingly.
