Coming up on the 12th & 13th of July will be the 4th Edition of the Shoreline Events.
These events are the efforts of many, in particular the Rice Lake Main Street Association & Out There Nordic.
In 2021 the Inaugural event played host to 16 athletes (6 women, 10 men) racing a 900m skate sprint.
The 2022 events added a 15km Classic Mass start race on Friday followed by a 1.7km skate sprint on Saturday playing host to 44 athletes (17 women, 27 men)
For 2023 the event schedule was the same for technique, the 15km mass start and a NEW 1.3km skate sprint course. Again with an increase in the overall field to 50 athletes (19 women, 31 men)
As we prepare to launch the 2024 edition we have had to close registration due to a much larger field. Our races will again be the 15km Mass start classic & a 1.3km skate sprint along the Shoreline in Rice Lake. This years field has grown to 97 athletes (30 women, 67 men)
We are very excited to have athletes representing the USA, Canada & Estonia along with both the US Ski Team & Canadian National Team athletes.
