Walk Around the Block
Walk Around the Block
Out There Nordic will be hosting a local Walk Around the Block on October 2, 2022. The goal is to use pole hiking as a means of endurance training for a half/ full ski marathon, to get outside or for exercise. The key to this event is gradually building up miles or k’s prior to the big day. Out There Nordic will be hosting pole hikes from May to August. If the 28 mile Walk Around the Block is too much to bite off this season, please feel free to join us for the Pole Hike options.
There is a prize available to those who are committed to make themselves better. The first 8 participants that complete 3 of 5 hikes AND complete the Walk Around the Block with us will receive a Specialty Out There Nordic piece of clothing. Please note that there is a set course of 28 miles for the Walk Around the Block in the Blue Hills. This tried and true course involves blacktop, gravel roads and has some elevation gain.
